Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new lower-grade version of its flagship EQS electric car, which thus far has been pioneered by the top-spec-only performance-oriented EQS53 in Australia.

The new EQS450 4Matic is hardly a budget offering, however, with a starting price of $219,900 before on-road costs, although it does offer keen buyers a whopping $107,175 saving when compared to the existing EQS53, which wears an MSRP of $327,075.
