BYD has reportedly confirmed international pricing for its rugged and off-road-ready Fang Cheng Bao 5, with the powerful hybrid SUV to be a comparative bargain when compared to models like the Toyota LandCruiser, Kia EV9 and Nissan Patrol.
Somewhere between a Prado (or 300 Series) and Kia’s all-electric EV9, the Fang Cheng Bao 5 combines a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with twin electric motors (one at each axle) to deliver a potent 500kW and 760Nm.
