A Brisbane car dealer has been ordered to refund the cost of an unsafe used vehicle after the owner started experiencing problems within five days of the purchase.

Kia has issued an urgent recall on the Sorento large SUV from 2020 to 2022, affecting more than 8,000 cars. Kia said a crack may develop in the component’s circuit board, leading to the pump failing and the vehicle losing power and risking a crash.
