Police crack fraudulent used-car syndicate

It didn’t work in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and now police have smashed a group allegedly attempting to wind back the clocks of used cars.


Queensland Police have charged a man for allegedly tampering with the odometer of used cars.

Detectives from the Major Organised Crime Squad executed search warrants at four addresses in Brisbane’s south, locating 115 vehicles – many of which allegedly had their odometers wound back.
